Catastrophe
ON YOUR HOLIDAY TRAVEL INSURANCE YOU ARE COVERED FOR
Up to €750 if you are forced to move from your pre-booked and pre-paid accommodation outside of the Republic of Ireland, as a result of fire, lightning, explosion, earthquake, storm, tempest, hurricane, flood, medical epidemic or local government directive which is confirmed in writing by local or national authority, for the irrecoverable travel and accommodation costs necessarily incurred to continue with your prepaid trip or, if the trip cannot be continued, for your return to Ireland.
YOU ARE NOT COVERED FOR
1) for any expense following your disinclination to travel or to continue with your trip when official directives from the local or national authority state it is acceptable to do so;
2) any cost or expense payable by or recoverable from the tour operator, airline, hotel or other provider of services.
